LTU professor to lead American robotics team to Sochi

Lawrence Tech students Phil Bigos and John Marnon will compete in the College Division when Professor CJ Chung leads the first American team to compete in the World Robot Olympiad, which will be held in Sochi, Russia, Nov. 21-23. Both LTU students are majoring in robotics engineering.

Lady Blue Devils earn WHAC and NAIA post-season honors

Three members of the Lawrence Technological University Volleyball Team have won all-conference honors from the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) and two have won all-academic honors from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).

Faculty and Staff Campaign gets underway at LTU

The 2014-2015 Faculty and Staff Campaign was officially kicked off on Nov. 11 with a presentation in the UTLC Gallery. This year’s goal is to raise $175,000 by March 2015.

Paul Traub, a senior business economist at the Detroit branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, will discuss the status of the current economic recovery when he presents the fifth annual Harold Hotelling Memorial Lecture on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 7 p.m.
