My name is Stephanie Anderson. I am a third year student in the Biomedical Engineering program. I am in Kappa Beta Gamma International Sorority and the Society of Suicide Awareness and Prevention on campus. I have multiple on-campus jobs and have lived in both upperclassmen housings. When I'm not in class, you can find me running around campus finding yet another club to join! I love to laugh, travel, and to find new and creative ways to better myself physically and mentally. I also love to cook and am constantly trying new recipes. I can't wait to have yet another wonderful year as a mentor (this is my second year) and for a whole new group of amazing and driven students to join the Blue Devil family! See you in fall!

I am Maaz Anjum and I am a 4th year Industrial Engineering major here at LTU. I currently intern at a Tier 2 Automotive Supplier called Persico USA in Rochester Hills. At home I am the lone boy in my family with two older sisters and they make sure to annoy me on a daily basis. This would be my first year participating in the First Year and Discovery Days programs and I really look forward to it. There are so many great things at LTU ranging from social orgs to athletics, for example I am in a fraternity and on the Ultimate Frisbee team (yes, that's a real sport, not really LTU athletics but close enough). I am excited to share my knowledge and love for LTU and everything about it. Anyways I am bad at writing bios so just find me and talk to me, I promise I am not as overly cheesy as this bio. I am just moderately cheesy.

Hello, my name is Aaron Barraclough. I am a fourth year Architecture major. I am originally from a small town fifteen minutes outside of Buffalo, New York. I am also a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon and served as LTU’s Greek Council President last year.

LTU can be whatever you want it to be, you just need to supply motivation of yourself and be ready to have a good time. I look forward to meeting all of you and having a great time! First year mentor is how I met some of my closest college friends. Be open and see what can happen.

My name is Maysara Elazzazi, I am a second year Robotics Engineering student here at Lawrence Tech. I live in New York, which is about 9 hours form LTU. Last year I got the chance to be one of the first people to live in Ruess. I definitely enjoy being outside and active throughout the year. In the winter I always try to go out and snowboard and in the summer I end up wake-boarding. I also try to get as involved on campus as I can because it makes for an unforgettable experience.

Hey~! My name is Jamie Ramirez. I am from the Bronx, New York. Starting fall 2016 I will be a junior. My major is architecture. In addition to being a First Year Mentor, I am a member of various organizations such as SSA (Spanish Speaking Association). I work for Student Engagement so I know basically what is going on, on campus, all the time. I enjoy Lawrence Tech because it is such a small knit community of students and you get to know everyone. Helping new students get to know campus and the wonderful opportunities and small things that make college life at LTU the ultimate best is what I look forward to the most as a First Year Mentor. The best thing to do here is get to know and make as many connections as you can as a student, it will help you get to where you want to be. I will be here to help you with your transition to college and to get you ready for this ride that will one of the best memories in your life. Don’t be timid, college is not the place for that! Don’t be afraid to ask questions because that is what is going to help your experience soar.
