JOB DUTIES: The Assistant Director of Financial Aid works closely with the Director of Financial Aid to further the mission of Lawrence Technological University in the areas of scholarship development and process implementation to our students, maintenance and tracking of accreditation for both the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics as well as institutional accreditation, loan disbursement, knowledge of all Title IV student aid programs and all compliance issues that deal with financial aid. The candidate will also maintain a working relationship with the Office of Advancement.

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree (B. A. or B.S.) from a four year institution of higher learning, or equivalent work experience; one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Working knowledge of Oracle Database and SCT Banner experience is a plus and preferred. Familiarity with the higher educational environment is highly desired. A strong background of federal and state aid reporting, Federal Direct Loan processing, awarding of financial aid is preferred.
