Director of Residence Life

Kim Osantowski
Kim Osantowski

I graduated from the University of Detroit Mercy with my B.A. in History and Women's Studies. After graduation I realized my passion was working with students and became the Graduate Resident Director for the First Year Experience Residence Hall at UDM. After a short time I became the Interim Resident Director. I began at LTU as the Residence Hall Coordinator for North Housing in hopes of getting students involved. My goal while working at Lawrence Tech is to help every student get the most out of their college experience.

Joy Sportel

I am originally from Kalamazoo, Michigan and transferred to Lawrence Tech after a year at Western Michigan University.  Having loved working in Res Life since my sophomore year, I am continually discovering my desire to work with people, especially students.  I have previously worked in marketing and held the position of Assistant to the Transportation and Industrial Design Director.  In addition to playing on the Varsity Volleyball team this past year, I am also very active in Student Government, having previously been Secretary and holding the office of Executive Vice President this next year.  I am currently a senior in the Architecture program and am very excited about the upcoming year here at LTU!  While I look forward to graduation in May, the excitement on Lawrence Tech’s campus is truly contagious and I am excited to enhance the experiences of our students as Blue Devils.
