Project Lead the Way:
Students in high school who pursue eligible Project Lead the Way (PLTW) courses and receive a “B” grade or better in those courses will receive a $1,000 scholarship toward their tuition and fees upon entering their freshman year at Lawrence Tech. Upon admission into the College of Engineering and verification of the PLTW courses taken and grade requirement achieved, the newly admitted student will receive a letter from the Dean of the College of Engineering awarding them the scholarship.
Phi Theta Kappa:
Phi Theta Kappa members interested in studying full-time at Lawrence Tech after completing two years at a participating community college are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship. Students must have a 3.0 GPA and transfer in 24 credits before submitting an application.
Eagle Scout Scholarship:
Incoming Lawrence Tech students that have achieved Eagle Scout status are eligible for a $1,000 scholarship. For more information, please contact Jane Rohrback at 248-204-3177.
Yottabyte Innovations in Software Scholarship
As a part of our commitment to developing future talent, we are proud to support future software innovators by providing the Yottabyte Innovations in Software Scholarship. Undergraduate and graduate IT students who will be attending an accredited university in the United States in the Spring of 2015 are eligible to apply for our scholarship. Great Lakes National Scholarship Program
Great Lakes Educational Loan Services, Inc. is offering $2,500 scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students enrolling in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM) programs. Up to 750 awards will be granted to qualified students from across the country. Scholarship applications will be accepted through April 5, 2014, or until 20,000 applications have been received. ASCO Numatics Industrial Automation Engineering College Scholarships
ASCO Numatics, a company of Emerson, has been the world’s leading manufacturer of comprehensive flow control and pneumatics solutions for over 100 years. We are proud to offer our college engineering scholarship program aimed at rewarding exceptional undergraduate and graduate students pursuing a career in manufacturing and processing engineering.
ASCO Numatics will award two, $5,000 scholarships to U.S. engineering students who are pursuing careers in industrial automation-related disciplines. Additionally, ASCO Numatics will make $1,000 grants to the engineering departments of the colleges in which the winners are enrolled. The scholarships are merit-based and will be awarded on the candidate’s potential for leadership and for making a significant contribution to the engineering, instrumentation, systems, and automation professions, particularly as they relate to the application of fluid control and fluid power technologies. DTE Energy Scholarship
This scholarship is established by the DTE Energy Foundation. Estimated number of distributions for the Fall Academic Semester will be from ten up to twenty scholarships. The dollar value of each scholarship can range from $500 to $1000. The Lawrence Technological University Scholarship Committee will review the applicants, make a decision on the award, and notify the student(s) who are awarded the scholarship.
The following criteria shall be considered by the University in selecting the scholarship recipient:
Scholarships may be awarded to undergraduate and graduate students who are committed to studying energy engineering, alternative energy or energy & environmental management.
