eLearning Services is pleased to announce the Phase 1 implementation of the Blackboard Content System and ePortfolios.
The Blackboard Content System is a fully integrated system for storing, sharing, and publishing content within Blackboard courses and organizations. ePortfolios are collections of digital content organized into customized web pages. They provide a way to present a collection of work, and share that collection with others. Faculty and students will now have the ability to develop and share electronic portfolios of their academic work as well as store, access, and share files and folders from within Blackboard.
Accessed through a new Content tab in Blackboard, the Content System and ePortfolio tools have been added to the Community System and Learning System in our suite of Blackboard applications. The Blackboard Community System is the portal you see when you visit my.ltu.edu. The Blackboard Learning System contains your courses and organizations.
eLearning Services is happy to provide guidance and consulting on the use of these new services on request, and will be offering introductory training to individual faculty and faculty groups in the near future.
