Student Employment is a resource for students seeking on and off campus employment, as well as Work-Study, Community Service, and Family Literacy program opportunities. Lawrence Tech offers opportunities for regular part-time employment up to 20 hours per week. Applications for all student employment positions are accepted in our online job resource database, CareerQuest.
Career Advisors are available to assist in navigation, resume writing and critiquing, co-op and internship help, interest inventories, interview practice sessions as well as other services. The Office of Career Services may be contacted at email@example.com or at 248.204.3140.
Using the CareerQuest system does not guarantee an interview or employment, but will help streamline the process of job searching.
NOTE: Students not registered for summer classes (and students registered for 3 credits or less) may work up to 30 hrs/week during the summer term if they are registered for fall classes. Students who are taking more than 3 credits during summer term are subject to the 20 hour per week maximum imposed during the standard academic year.
