Faculty Position, Landscape Architecture

The College of Architecture and Design at Lawrence Technological University seeks candidates with expertise in landscape architecture and/or landscape urbanism for a faculty position in the Department of Architecture.  Successful applicants for this tenure-track or College Professor (non-tenure track) position will build upon the College’s dedication to design as an integrated, multi-disciplinary, and critical process; have a command of the appropriate uses of natural systems, recent literature, best practices, and advanced contemporary technologies; and a record of collaborative teaching with faculty specializing in allied subjects such as architecture, urban design, interior design, building technologies, geology, architectural engineering, geology, and civil engineering. The candidate is expected to have a clear research or creative agenda related to landscape architecture/landscape urbanism and an interest in expanding and enhancing the College curricula with regard to the landscape.  A Master of Landscape Architecture (MLA) or equivalent terminal degree is required.  Professional registration is desirable. The faculty appointment commences August 2014.
